Producer and singer-songwriter Johnny Yukon finds the nexus between 21st century R&B production, clever pop palatability, and cinematic lyricism with his latest release, ‘Laptop’.
Born and raised in Warrington, PA, and based in Los Angeles, Johnny Yukon is the 21-year-old that might best be described as Chris Martin crooning over a smoked-out collaboration by Noah “40” Shebib and Metro Boomin. Yukon releases his new track ‘Laptop’ along with the official video, as the young artist continues to sharpen his signature style even further.

In 2016, Yukon began receiving acclaim from tastemakers such as Pigeons & Planes, while generating a buzz on Soundcloud. ‘Malibu Feels’ amassed over 471K plays in under a year, whilst ‘Paper’ also racked up 303K plays.
In under two years, Johnny has built quite the impressive resume: Jennifer Lopez’s ‘Love Make The World Go Round (feat. Lin-Manuel Miranda)’ became his first Billboard Hot 100 hit followed by The Vamps’ ‘All Night’, Lecrae’s ‘On My Own (feat. Leon Bridges)’ for The Birth of a Nation Soundtrack, Young Rising Sons’ ‘Carry On’, Gnash’s ‘Home’, and many more. This year, in between writing for everybody from Jeremih and Wiz Khalifa to Lil Wayne and J Balvin, Johnny Yukon is beginning to properly introduce listeners to his own sound.
