Run the Jewels take ‘Legend Has It’ to new levels,as the latest music video follows El-P and Killer Mike standing in a police lineup while tripping on acid.

In the clip, Killer Mike and El-P, aka Run The Jewels, drop tabs of LSD while waiting to take their spots in a police lineup. When the lineup happens, viewers get to witness the duo hallucinating in a room full of duplicates and doppelgängers (and a guy in a full body cast holding a balloon) that help Run the Jewels perform the hit track. Soon after, the police are shown stacking the deck against the duo to ensure a positive identification by a witness.

“This video is a worst nightmare scenario”, Run the Jewels said in a statement. “High on acid and caught in the system. Pitted against icons of innocence in a police line up that doesn’t feel real. No bunnies were hurt in the making of this video”.

Director Brian Beletic, who previously helmed El-P’s “Deep Space 9mm” video, added, “The video for ‘Legend Has It’ plays with the theme of ‘Guilty until proven innocent.’ We live in a world where the stronger the truth, the greater the opposition. In this story, El-P and Killer Mike are in a police lineup and the cards are stacked heavily against them. But why is that?”
